The TOP Server Weatherford 8500 driver provides a communication interface for Weatherford Rod Pump Controllers (RPC) supporting the Weatherford 8500 Serial protocol including via Ethernet/serial convertors/radios/terminal services.
Weatherford RPCs are widely used at wellhead facilities in the Oil & Gas Industry and are known by many names including Baker Hughes, WellPilot, ePIC and others listed below.
