The TOP Server Siemens Plus Suite provides incredible value because it includes 7 drivers that cover a range of connectivity options for Siemens S5 and S7 PLCs. Whether you need serial or Ethernet connectivity to Siemens controllers, this product gives you a diversity of options, including S7-MPI connectivity.
This item is a Suite of drivers containing:
This suite adds both S7 Plus Ethernet and OPC UA Client connectivity for connectivity to the S7-1500 and S7-1200 controllers for access to symbolic variables including arrays, structures and UDTs, as well as optimized block access. Both methods are Siemens approved. NOTE: OPC UA method is for S7-1500 controllers (Firmware Rev. 2.0.1 or newer).
If you only need classic S7 Ethernet connectivity without symbolic addressing, you need the Siemens S5/S7 Suite instead.
