The TOP Server® Opto 22 Ethernet Driver provides a communication interface to Opto 22 Ethernet controllers with the same level of performance, stability and ease of configuration as any other TOP Server driver.
This driver provides data exchange between OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink and DDE clients and Opto 22 Ethernet SNAP Industrial Controllers (SNAP PAC S-Series, SNAP PAC R-Series and SNAP-LCE), SNAP Brains (SNAP PAC EB-Series, SNAP Ultimate I/O, SNAP Ethernet I/O and SNAP Simple I/O), and E1 and E2 Brain Boards using either the MMIO Ethernet protocol over TCP/IP or UDP connections or the CONT over Ethernet protocol over TCP/IP connections.
Data acquisition is optimized based on upstream client demand while data integrity is ensured using extensive error handling.
Available as a standalone real-time data driver or as part of the TOP Server Manufacturing Suite, this driver delivers enterprise-grade reliability for Opto 22 control systems.
