Provides a TOP Server communication interface for shop-floor equipment that exposes data via the MTConnect standard.
MTConnect is an open manufacturing connectivity standard maintained by the MTConnect Institute, aimed at connecting shop-floor technologies to monitoring/analysis applications.
Helps deliver real-time operational data into client applications (such as HMI, SCADA, Historian, MES, ERP, and custom apps) through TOP Server interfaces.
Available as a standalone driver and also as part of the TOP Server Manufacturing Suite.
MTConnect Compliant Devices
Any machine tool or agent that supports the MTConnect protocol.
Must support MTConnect V1.1 through V1.6 or V2.0 (with XML 1.0 schema validation enabled or disabled).
