MQTT Client TOP Server And IO Driver + 1 Year Support & Maintenance Agreement
The TOP Server MQTT Client driver provides a communication interface to MQTT brokers with the same level of performance, stability and ease of configuration as any other TOP Server driver. Once the data is in TOP Server you can expose it via OPC DA, OPC UA, or AVEVA SuiteLink, and use TOP plug-ins for logging, OPC A&E, and more.
MQTT (Message Queue Telemetry Transport) is a lightweight message protocol used to connect a wide variety of IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and industrial automation devices using a publish and subscribe model for communications. MQTT is commonly used for connecting sensor networks and as a standard embedded interface on next generation industrial automation equipment and devices, especially in widely distributed applications. A typical architecture is that such equipment and devices publish data to a centralized MQTT broker, either in the cloud or hosted on premise.
The MQTT Client driver enables TOP Server as an MQTT translator, providing a reliable method for reading data from any MQTT broker by client applications such as HMI, SCADA, Historian, MES, ERP, and custom applications via TOP Server’s standard client interfaces including AVEVA SuiteLink, OPC UA, and OPC DA.
